Booking Terms and Conditions

Every booking is subject to our terms and conditions as otlined below:

  • Payment must be made in full to the invoice number by date specified to have a confirmed booking.

  • No refunds are permitted unless there are exceptional circumstances e.g. personal sickness, family emergencies. We do not provide refunds for change of mind. (We wouldn’t survive as a small business!)

  • We do not provide a refund for members of your group if they decide not to come- we cater our food and trip for the exact number that you booked. We suggest trying to find an alternative person to replace them in these cases.

  • If you are unable to make your booking, please let us know with as much notice as possible. You are able to transfer your booking to another name with no penalty.

  • If we have bad weather (strong winds or heavy rain) that makes it unsafe to depart, captain Martin will decide within 24 hours of departure and we will contact you to organise an alternative date with priority over new bookings.

  • If you have last minute additional people to add to your group, please let us know with at least 3 days notice so we can cater accordingly. Each passenger needs to pay their booking fee prior to departure or boarding may be refused.

COVID-19 POLICY

  • If laws and regulations change meaning we can no longer depart on your trip, or we have to depart with a smaller number of people, you’ll have two options:

    • Booking credit will be organised for a future date of your choice, no penalty and first priority.

    • Refund for the people who were not able to come.

  • Of course, in certain circumstances we will try to refund you if we can (e.g. you are a group travelling from interstate/overseas and have no plans to return to Sydney) however, if we can offer you a suitable alternative date to depart - this is our policy.

  • We will assess each trip on a case by case basis, but the above policy is what you agree to when you make payment on an invoice and book with Banana Sail Sydney.

  • It is your personal responsibility when departing with Banana Sail Sydney, that you are complying with local laws and regulations, we will not be held responsible if you are out of your allocated zone, have been given stay-at-home orders, etc.

  • We take a stance that ALL people are welcome regardless of status, however do not wish to pay any penalties - so please do just make sure you’re in the clear to come on board with us.
